Mumijo, also known as Tian Shan, is classified as an elixir, and folk medicine has known it since ancient Greece. Its structure and form are resin, formed over thousands of years by deposition in rocks, cracks, and caves at an altitude of 1500 m in the Central Asian region (from Russia to Tibet). In terms of chemical composition, it is a highly complex mixture (containing about 60 elements), composed of inorganic and organic substances of plant and animal origin. There are still debates about what Mumijo is, but most experts agree that it is fossilized remains of honey, wax, propolis, bee nests, and various deposits of plant substances (about 7000 species) found in this area. Mumijo is an immunostimulant that protects the body from various infections. Additionally, it is a powerful antioxidant and aids in wound healing and regeneration, as well as in various allergies.
