Disc weights or plate weights are one of the most basic and commonly used props in any gym. They are categorized into standard (27 mm) or Olympic type (50 mm) models, used with corresponding bars. This category includes numerous Olympic-type models (bumpers, rubber or iron disc weights), as well as those for the standard type, mostly made of cast iron. Some models are full-profile, while others have slots/grips for independent training without using bars.
